Recent funding opportunities, wider changes in local youth provision and our annual questionnaires have collectively allowed us to reassess and reimagine the needs of our community. With this in mind, the Trustees and staff have worked hard, with local young people and partners to consult and create a new vision for the playground. Ideas, include; an extension to house a new youth club, a new MUGA (outdoors sports pitch), better sports facilities, more green open space, new play equipment and improved landscaping. The aim is to build a facility that continues to meet the changing needs of our community.

On the dawn of our 50th anniversary and following detailed community and youth consultations, we have a transformative vision, to revamp our facility, offering a new youth centre, multi-use games area (MUGA), and outdoor spaces, paving the way for even greater community engagement and enrichment. With ambitions to secure significant funding contributions from the local community and business sector is needed to show wider commitment and support for these plans.

SPEKE ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND
SPEKE VENNY
We are an established open access play provision for children aged 0-16 years and have been in operation since 1975.
Fully inclusive, our centres are run by qualified play and youth workers providing; after school provision, holiday programmes, youth clubs, special projects, residentials, excursions and free evening meals.
Free play and socialising are always key attractions, but alongside this we deliver organised activities and special projects that support being active, social issues, personal development, cultural diversity, health and well-being, celebratory events, being creative and participation.
