▷ WHAT IS SAFEGUARDING :

Safeguarding is the action that is taken to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm. Safeguarding means protecting children from abuse and maltreatment, preventing harm to children’s health or development and ensuring children grow up with the provision of safe and effective care.

▷ REPORT A CONCERN:

Speke Children’s Environment Committee is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults. We have a Safeguarding Policy which has been adopted by the Management Committee and followed by all of our staff and can be viewed here.

We strive to create an open environment in which children, colleagues, parents and carers are able to voice concerns promptly in the knowledge that they will be acted upon in an appropriate manner.

▷ SAFEGUARDING IS EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBILITY : WHAT TO DO?

If you are concerned that a child or adult is in immediate danger, please call the POLICE on 999.
